Education
Researcher
Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging, Faculty of medicine and health sciences, NTNU
- I continue my research from the PhD and start new projects including 3D focusing and parameter optimization using macheie learning methods. The goal is to improve the image quality and acquisition time. The position is financed by GE Healthcare Womens Health and NTNU.
Ph.D in Medical Technology
Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging, Faculty of medicine and health sciences, NTNU, 2024.
- The title of the Ph.D thesis is “Retrospective Beamforming and Sound Speed Correction”. The research is partly financed by GE Healthcare Women’s Health through the Center of Innovative Ultrasound Solutions (CIUS).
Master of Science in Electronics Systems Design and Innovation
Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, NTNU, 2021.
- Specialization in Acoustics.
- Graduation project: “Adaptive beamforming in Echocardiography”.
Internships
Summer Internship at Brekke & Strand
Kristiansand (June 2020 - August 2020)
- An internship where I learned about how an acoustics consulting engineer performs measurements in buildings, urban parks and on construction sites using acoustical equipment and ISO standards. I also categorized measurement figures and learned about acoustical properties of building meterials.
Summer Internship at Disruptive Technologies
Trondheim (June 2019 - August 2019)
- Focus on product testing. Good balance of independent and teamwork.
- Low-level programming: C, Ninja, GCC, TI CC1350.
- I designed and implemented a product test interface: UART, Flash R/W, scripting in Python
Software
The Ultrasound Toolbox
Website and Bitbucket repository
- I contribute with development and maintain the software library USTB. USTB is a MATLAB toolbox for processing ultrasonic signals.
vbeam
- I am a developer and contributor to the software library vbeam. vbeam is a python library build on Google JAX and allows for fast GPU processing of ultrasound signals and auto-differentiation.
